


Behind The Brand
I grew up in the North East as the eldest of two sisters, watching first-hand what it takes to run a small business. My father was a self-employed electrician, and from an early age I helped with his paperwork and accounts, experiences that sparked my interest in finance and led me to become an accountant.
I was the first in my family to attend university and went on to qualify as a Chartered Public Finance Accountant in 1995. Over the past 25+ years, I’ve built a senior leadership career across accountancy, social housing, and executive roles, including Executive Director positions within values-based organisations with multi-million-pound turnovers. Alongside this, I’ve run my own business and understand the realities business owners face every day.
I’m an empathic, values-driven leader with an MBA and a Level 7 Diploma in Executive Coaching & Mentoring. In 2025, I became a licensed practitioner of the Pendleton Business Waterwheel, a proven framework that helps business owners step back, gain clarity, and focus on what will drive sustainable growth.
Today, I use my experience to support small and medium-sized businesses, helping owners build strong, resilient organisations that align with both their goals and their lives. I’m particularly passionate about supporting female business owners and those navigating the balance between work, leadership, and family.
